I bought this sound bar. Is it normal that there is a slight delay in the sound? I have connected it to the TV with the optical cable and also tried with HDMI, unfortunately it is not in sync with the picture and so not usable for me.

I have now found out. You can set the delay in the TV (Samsung) somewhat hidden under Sound SPDIF. Set it to 0 and that's it.

I sometimes experience this too. But it's not the soundbar but the Sony TV. Switch off the TV and then it works again!

I don't have the problem - the sound is impeccably synchronous - 
although not of overwhelming quality - 
Philips TV - 
Swisscom TV and / or Cablecom - 
connection ( only ) via HDMI ( so that the volume is also controlled ) - 
when switched on, the TV signals "ext. Amplifier active" - 
it may be possible to adjust the sound delay or synchronisation in the TV set menu.

I have the same problem. It's quite annoying. I'm still trying to figure it out, but apparently it's not just my problem. Could it have something to do with Swisscom TV?

When watching TV directly on the TV without a box etc.?
