Sonos Beam

No, it wouldn't work with the Marmitek Split, since you'd need a HDMI-cable to connect to the AV-Receiver to send the audio. Since SONOS is connected via Wifi this is not going to work. Alternatively, you can use this split to send the signal over a 3.5mm audio cinch and to connect it with whatever speakers, AV-Receivers or Hifi compact systems you want. Take a look at the price history.
This model is still the old one. It will be available on sonos.com from 6 October. I can't say when it will be available on Digitec.
Yes, you can deactivate the service or simply not activate it. The Beam is not available without the Voice Control function. You would have to use the older generation of SONOS speakers.
We recently bought the Beam here. Also runs perfectly on the Samsung TV. No problem with loud/quiet via remote control.
Hello the Beam has a network connection. The Sonos app is also available for the PC. If both are in the same network, you can also control them via the app. However, the app does not directly support YouTube or Netflix, but there are programmes that make this possible. Another possibility is the direct connection via a stereo audio cable. This worked with the old Sonos Players 5. However, the Beam does not have a direct input. With Sonos, many things are possible, but sometimes only in a roundabout way 😂.
Hello You can use an HDMI switch that is available on Digitec. I used the one from Philips Hue to control the lights via the HDMI signals. The Apple TV can transmit the audio signal directly to Sonos via WLAN. You don't need an additional device for this, or the one connection on the Beam is sufficient. The input is automatically recognised and set.
You have 2 options, either the screen has 2 HDMI connections and one supports HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or the computer has an optical connection.
This should work automatically if you use an HDMI cable and the HDMI socket with the ARC labelling on the TV.
It is possible to connect the Beam with a cable, but the cable is not included.
I don't own a Swisscom box but I do own the Sonos beam. The problem with Sonos is that their speakers are generally used for music streaming via WiFi. However, as far as I know, they can be connected to the TV directly via the HDMI connection. I hope that I have been able to help.
Unfortunately, these models are not on display in our branches.
No, unfortunately this item is not Bluetooth compatible.
