The Singer Heavy Duty 6335M is well suited for sewing thicker materials such as leather, as it has a powerful motor and is equipped with a non-stick gliding foot that makes it easier to feed heavy fabrics. However, the machine may be less suitable for very fine work as it is fast and the speed can only be regulated using the foot pedal. However, it could work well for thicker leather as long as the needle is selected appropriately.

Hello, I sew up to 6mm leather with this machine. The problem is not the power, but the transportability of the material to be sewn. Does it stick to the foot or can it not be pushed forwards. A Teflon presser foot helps with leather, ban also gets a feed foot.
Our students also found the machine a bit bulky with fine fabrics (difficult to sew "slowly") ... With a bit of practice and a developed feeling for the tip of the foot, we have now produced some great work with fine fabrics and jersey (airy summer dresses, caps (with jersey/stretch, elaborate bustiers).
There are plastic spouts included, I have only used these. Would love to sell my machine, only used it 1x! Everything works perfectly but my old Bernina was repaired and now I have one sewing machine too many😁.
