Question about Singer Heavy Duty 4432
I've just bought a Singer heavy Dury 4432, I'm a beginner so I've watched loads of videos to find out how to start it. But I have a problem when the needle has to fish the thread out of the bobbin it struggles to fish it out and when I do manage to fish it out I get a tangle of thread on the back ... I'm desperate I've been trying for a week but nothing.Any advice ? Thanks 💕
You can find lots of great videos on YouTube. The thread in the bobbin must point anti-clockwise. To be able to fish the thread out of the bobbin, you have to turn it with the turning head on the side. Before doing this, of course, load the sewing needle with the thread. Sometimes you need a pair of tweezers to pull the thread out - a small loop is formed. I hope you can make sense of this belated answer. Good luck
Perhaps the problem is the thread, perhaps too fine or not suitable for a sewing machine? It doesn't do it for me...
