Hi Isabelle. To my knowledge if you „own“ the music (that is if you have purchased the records/cds etc, then you can convert them to mp3 files and download them on the mo3 player they is integrated in the shokz openswim (I think that is the only format it supports). If your music is just downloaded from Apple Music through your Apple subscription, then Apple does not allow the conversion and you unfortunately cannot use it with the openswim.

The Shokz OpenSwim is waterproof and has an IP68 certification, which means that it is resistant to water and dust. However, it is important to note that use in salt water (sea) could affect the durability of the device in the long term, as salt can be corrosive. It is therefore advisable to thoroughly clean and dry the device after swimming in salt water to prolong its life.
Automatically generated from the .Hi , I have tried several Swimming MP3 . Shokz open swimm is one of the top which I had . It’s really worth it… I’m very happy
We have not used them in salt water yet. My answer is however they can be. You need to make sure to rinse and clean them after and there should be no problems.
It is an old USB cable that is also the charging station. See here: https://uk.shokz.com/products/openswim-charging-data-cable

In a quiet place yes. In a swimming pool unlikely. The advantage is that with the earplugs you don't have to put them in too loud.
So the one I took has no connection to the phone. You have to download the music. The only way to do this is to plug the device into your PC and simply put your music on it. So yes, you can have your music file downloaded. After look at the other devices, there is surely with connection bluetooth
Yes, if you turn them up really loud, but it's relatively quiet, like normal headphones.
Yes, if you connect the headphones to a Mac with the supplied cable (USB A), the computer recognises the headphones as an external hard drive. Then you can simply copy the music files (mp3, m4a, and other formats) over. I own a MacBook Pro laptop myself.
No exact delivery date is currently known. Unfortunately, our suppliers are also late in delivering this item. I recommend you to put the item on your watch list, as soon as the item is available, you will be informed by e-mail.
The model you have chosen is for swimming. Bluetooth does not work in water. That's why it has an MP3 player. All other models have Bluetooth. For example the OpenMove or Aeropex.
The Xtrainerz is 100% waterproof and therefore also suitable for swimming. But no Blutooth. If you want to swim with it, go for the Xtrainerz (I have it), otherwise one of the other models, in which case I would recommend the Aeoropex. 8h battery (analog xtrainerz), Blutooth capable and water resistant (not for swimming).
Yes, it is probably even better suited for podcasts and audio books than music because a lot more is lost in the much wider sound spectrum in music when you listen to everything underwater. I have listened to several podcasts while swimming and find the quality quite sufficient but the operation a bit tedious (FF and RW are difficult without a screen).
