In my opinion it is because there are generally fewer white in-ears compared to black in-ears. I bought the white ones because I think they look nicer.
Regarding the microphone quality: So far the only time I've had a phone call outside into the wind is that the person opposite can barely hear me. However, as soon as there is no wind, people understand me just as clearly as if I were holding my Google Pixel 7 to my ear.
From today's perspective, I would choose the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 and no longer the 2nd generation. These then also come back in white. As a tip on the Sennheiser HP, all colors (black, white and graphite) cost €199
