The image should look good on the monitor when you connect it to a Mac. Scaling should work fine as the monitor offers a UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which provides a clear display on a 27-inch screen. However, there are reports of screen display issues with certain macOS versions, especially when using multiple monitors.

You can connect it safely. It works perfectly with my MacBook. Difference to the other Samsung - no idea. The monitor is average - nothing special...

I ordered the same monitor a few months ago and the usb-c to usb-c cable was included but slightly too short for my laptop use on the left of the monitor and port on the left side of the laptop. Also included were HDMI, display port, Swiss and European power cables.
