You can find instructions from Samsung on how to set up your camera at the following link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/computing/how-to-connect-the-smart-monitor-m80b-dedicated-camera/ Then all you have to do is select the camera in the Google Meet settings.

Helpful answer

Hello, Although I don't own a Mac Mini, but a Mac Studio, I'm still happy to answer. I have successfully connected two of these monitors to a Mac Studio M1 Max. Everything works perfectly. I am very satisfied.

Unfortunately, we have no direct experience/proven compatible solution for this. According to consultation with Samsung support, conversion between jack and USB-C should theoretically be possible with an appropriate adapter (digital/analogue converter). In our range, I find solutions such as Audio-Technica AudioT ATR2x-USB Adapter 3.5 to USB-C bk 3.5mm to USB Digital Audio Adapter or https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logilink-usb-c-zu-35-mm-digital-analog-audio-adapter-12959000. Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure whether it will work/fully compatible.

The monitor supports image transfer via USB-C, so I don't understand why there are reports that this is not possible. You could also use the HDMI cable on the Mac Mini. Could it be the cable connections? It should work with the cables supplied. These monitors would also be able to accept signals via USB-C: Samsung LF32TU870VRXEN (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 32 ") Philips 329P1H/00 (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 31.50 ")
