So you can certainly connect a Mac to the monitor, but the resolution is only 1920 x 1080. With Retina, Apple means its high-resolution displays, which this monitor unfortunately is not really.

An HDMI cable is included. I have been using it since last weekend. It is absolutely great for the home office.

Unfortunately it is not adjustable, neither in height nor laterally. I also fell in. Otherwise a good picture.
