Hello, you must use either a DisplayPort 2.1 cable or an hdmi 2.1 cable and your computer must have a GPU capable of driving the 7680x2160 resolution. I have a MacBook Pro M3Max that does handle this, but no other Apple Silicon- nor Intel model does. If you’re a Windows user, you’ll need a pretty hefty Nvidia card to drive the screen at this resolution.
I've had it for six months now. First a total failure after less than a month. I got a replacement.
Today I wouldn't give up the monitor I've used so far. Absolutely brilliant space for working. No one has ever managed the split to two 4k monitors so well. Laptop and home PC. With the free software from MS for just one keyboard and mouse, it's brilliant for working. For gaming: I only have the MS flight simulator. Absolutely marvellous. For me, only a better, identical successor would come into question. Smaller would definitely not be an option.
Disadvantages: you have to spend the same amount again on the graphics card. Without a 4090 or the best AMD, you won't be able to play games in this resolution. Laptop up to 4k as half is possible with new models.
For graphic designers, the colour space is not quite top, there are better ones, but still very, very good!

It is possible with stream compression, however almost now of the current generation GPUs support DP 2.1.

I’m not a gamer. I use it for productivity apps (Excel among them), photo editing, music production and video editing. It’s the best monitor I ever had. However, you must make sure that your GPU is powerful enough to drive it at full resolution, otherwise you might be better off buying a cheaper monitor, such as the Samsung 49” G9.

We have this in operation with a 7900XTX at maximum resolution and with adaptive sync activated we achieve approx. 140 - 160fps or hz. 240 would certainly also be possible but then with a lot of losses in terms of graphics. However, this only works with Assetto Corsa and IRacing, both of which are not very graphics hungry. Newer games don't stand a chance with the high resolution at the moment. In my opinion, you can't tell the difference between 150 and 240 fps, but we only play racing games.

The Ergotron HX HD holds the weight but the tilt will always adjust itself. However, there is a workaround by clamping 2 screws into the bracket.
I don't know of any other mount that holds the new G9 57".

The display has Adaptive Sync, which is the general term for G-Sync and Freesync. Adaptive Sync works with most Nvidia graphics cards and all AMD graphics cards. However, the monitor is not a G-Sync monitor in the sense that it does not have a G-Sync module.
I can personally assure you that Adaptive Sync will certainly work from the RTX 3000 series onwards. It simply has to be activated manually in the Nvidia Control Panel.
There are reports that it did not work correctly with the first firmware. However, mine, with the latest firmware from the end of October, on an RTX 3080 via HDMI 2.1 (port 2), works correctly.

Yes, there are many options. All wall mounts that support VESA 100 x 100. Then you just have to make sure that the diameter and weight are right. For example:

No, apparently it only works via 1.4 Display Port and Nvidia has not implemented this. I have a Radeon AMD and it can do this. It also works with the high resolution.
