Is it possible to connect a macbook air m1. This screen has a resolution of 3840x2160. Is this too much?

Unfortunately, the monitor cannot be operated with the latest "Mac Studio" via the Thunderbolt connection. I can only get it to work with HDMI. Am I doing something wrong?

Price question: What is the difference between F32TU870VU (item 15402826) and F32TU870VR (item 13645472)? Of course the U and the R - but where is the technical difference? Both are available at Galaxus, except for the price I don't see any difference... Forget the Samsung Home Page - only nice pictures, but no real specification sheets. No archive. Actually a reason not to buy.

Is it possible to use this monitor without a docking station in dual mode with a MacBook Pro 13inch 2018? I also use a Lenovo Thinkpad and would like to use both laptops with 2 screens, so just switch depending on which laptop I use.

Source Auto Switch in monitor is set to ON. PC is connected to HDMI port and Notebook to DP port. When PC / Notebook is switched off, the monitor doesn't automatically switch to one of the input port. Is this monitor defect ?

Stupid question: Can there be problems with Thunderbolt when charging Windows laptops, since Apple laptops in particular are equipped with Thunderbolt? Or is that compatible in any case? Digitec doesn't have a USB-C connection, but it does have Thunderbolt.
