Hello, I use it with several smartphones (Samsung and other brands) and it works flawlessly, it charges very quickly. It also works very reliably with my Tab S6 tablet.
However, I have also had bad experiences with other Samsung chargers, it may be that yours is defective.
The cable supplied with Samsung's 45W wall charger is a USB-C cable, but the sources don't explicitly specify the amps (A) capacity of the cable. However, given that the charger supports a 45W fast charge, it's likely that the cable is designed to support a high charge, which could correspond to a 5A cable, but this isn't explicitly stated.
For compatibility the cable for this charger is USB Type-C and the charger is 45w. You will have to see if the cable to charge your smartphone is a USB Type-C or if it supports fast charging in 45w.
Yes thank you I have the original one from the note 20 plus 5g which is a 25 watt charger and has 2 dual USB-C ends, I tested it with my Tabs4 and it works. so a priori it should also be good with the 45 watt one I guess considering your answer?
Thanks for your help
The cable is 1m long. Incidentally, I recommend using this cable and not an ordinary charging cable. The cable supplied has a larger cross-section and therefore a lower resistance, and all signal paths are present, which is not the case with most charging cables. When fast charging, the charge monitoring is absolutely important in order not to overload the battery.
In the past, the devices were screwed together with seals and you could simply change the battery; today's devices are only glued together and are usually no longer leak-proof after opening. The battery is a consumable item and loses an average of 10% per year, which means that devices worth more than CHF 1,000 are often thrown away, which are still absolutely functional, just because the battery (material value 20.-!) has become weak.
To ensure that the battery lasts as long as possible, I recommend operating the battery between 20% and 80%. The internal voltages are at their highest at 0% and 100%, so the service life suffers considerably.
