Moisten with spit and the part will hold again. At least it holds for me. No kidding! 😊👍
Try soaking the part with the suction cup in warm water (not hot) with washing-up liquid for about 1 hour. This should loosen the dirt film. It worked great for me.

I have a Galaxy S10+ and it fits in the holder without any problems, so an Honor 10 shouldn't be a problem.
Due to the fact that the iPhone 7 plus is 5.5 inches and the holder is -5.7", I think this is compatible with the iPhone.
