No, this is not possible, even access via the network does not allow this (to transfer data to the internal HD). The only thing that helps is a NAS or PC and ripping yourself ;-)
Doesn't the smart remote have a learning function? That would be really sad, as it was already possible with the old casino clock from the 90s.
According to the manufacturer's website, a dual tuner is integrated. The TV picture is either generated by the tuner of the Bluray player and output via HDMI or directly from the tuner of your TV as usual. In principle, you have more options for watching or recording channels "at the same time", depending on whether you are using the TV or the player.Ultimately, the tuner of the TV or the player is responsible for the quality of the picture. In the case of the TV, additional functions of the TV itself may contribute to optimising the picture display. However, this has nothing to do with whether the cable goes through the player or directly to the TV. The cable signal is simply forwarded.
Hi Patrik.mueller. According to many sites such as Amazon and testberichte.de, Netflix should work on the device. It's a shame that digitec doesn't mention such features directly in the specifications.
yes, but not a particularly good device. It was repaired twice within 1 3/4 years, now it's broken again and I don't have the energy to revive it. Since then, no more Samsung products have entered my home. Simply cheap crap.
Due to the poor quality of the device, I can't test it. My player has to go into warranty for the second time this year Rep
According to http://www.samsung.com/ch/consumer/tv-av/audio-video/blu-ray-dvd-player/BD-H8900/EN/, "Samsung UHD Picture Engine Upscaling" takes place. Depending on the interpretation of "This means that not only UHD sources are displayed with a sharp 4-K resolution...", I would answer your question "probably".
Zattoo works on the device. The user name and password remain saved, even if the device is switched off in between (I take it off the mains when not in use).
no, I have not found a "legal" way to do this
On any TV set that is connected to the Blu-ray player;-)
I don't know what hbbTV is, but if it's one of those weird overlays, e.g. on SRF (red button for additional information), then yes, this device can do it.
Satellite TV does not work. This device only works with the cable TV connection. Therefore, nothing would stand in the way of the purchase ;-))
No, DVDs and Blue-rays can only be played, hence "player".
