Yes, there are two different inserters, one for film strips and one for mounted slides (4 slides at a time). Even glazed slides can be scanned. The quality of the components and also the scans is excellent. I have scanned thousands of slides and am absolutely thrilled. Everything is manual and it takes a bit of patience to learn the best workflow and handling, but then it's easy.
