I bought the Razer Ripsaw. I have connected everything correctly to the PS 4 and installed it, but I can't get a picture signal on OBS or the screen, but the PC recognises the device and the screen also shows a sign of life on the HDMI connection. I have adjusted the picture settings using a tutorial but nothing helps. Can anyone help me?

Yes, I did that too, I found the error, the Ripsaw must be plugged into a USB 3.0 port, otherwise it doesn't work.

I have now purchased the Trust Emita (https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/trust-gxt-252-emita-mono-black-microphones-6374408) and I am very satisfied. Transferring the party chat is possible but not recommended, I would prefer to play with my friends via Discord (will be the same with the Elgato).

If I stream with the device do I have to have an external mic or is the headset on the Xbox enough?

I bought the Ripsaw so I can stream on the PS4, the party quality and headset quality is terrible through the Ripsaw (everything in the voice chat is extremely clipping (my current headset is the Astro A40 mixamp Pro --> normally very good mic quality)). I think it's recommended to buy an external mic but I'm still experimenting with how to handle all this with Sreamlap's OBS and Razer Synapse before I'm 100% sure that an external mic is necessary so I can't give you 100% sure.

Does anyone know which HDMI splitter I need to record gameplay from the PS3? It is encrypted by HDCP, a search showed that you need an HDMI splitter to remove it. I'm facing exactly the same problem, but I want to digitise VHS with this thing. Unfortunately I can't get a picture in :( ... Have you already found a solution?
