Questions about Razer Kraken

I have just changed my PC and reconnected my Razer Kraken 7.1 V2. Before, with the old PC, a volume of about 12 was normal for me. Now I have to set a volume of 22 and more to hear it at about the same volume. Could this be because of the change of PC? Does anyone know this phenomenon? But Windows 10 was also installed before.

Quite simply, the sound chips have a certain force, or rather ohm (resistance), which they have to overcome. In your case it is now so that it is quieter, which means the sound chip is no longer as full of power or simply worse. There are also headsets that have e.g. 250 ohm then your sound chip must also be able to output this otherwise it is very quiet even if you have it at full volume. hope I could help you

I switched the headset to PC and the mute function for the microphone no longer works. If I change the switch on the headset cable to mute, I can still be heard. This was not the case on the console. Does anyone know why this is?

Helpful answer

Try changing the audio settings so that your headset is the master and not your computer. If that doesn't work, try downloading an AudioConfig from Kraken and it should work.

Hello Together I bought this headset a while ago and used it for the PS4 without any problems. Now I want to use this headset for my PC as well, but somehow it doesn't work with the jack connection. Do I really need a USB connection? Can someone please help me? Thank you for any feedback.
