I did a quick google for you: Other keyboard layouts will probably come in Q1 2021, but I doubt whether there will be a CH keyboard: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=289986
It is indeed a great price for such a cool computer, although the partnumber RPI400-KIT-IT indicates that this is a kit with an italian keyboard layout.
The language of the manual and the keyboard layout is different, I don't know about the power supply, but actually Digitec should include an adapter in case the supplied power plug does not fit into a CH socket.
You can buy any microsd card and flash it with the tool you can download from the raspberry site, which lets you choose several operating systems depending on what you want to do.
Yes, this keyboard has an Italian Layout.
This is UK: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/raspberry-pi-pi-400-computer-kit-uk-entwicklungsboard-kit-20709283
Unfortunately, we don't have the US layout.
This is the Italian version, and it comes with: Mouse, power supply, micro HDMI to HDMI cable, and SD card pre-installed with Raspberry Pi OS, and in general all kits should have the same scope of delivery, including the US version Raspberry Pi 400 US (ARMv8)
Unfortunately, we can't make a specific bundle with what you mention. ):
The solution would be to choose the parts you need individually.

Ja, nur DE.
For the Swiss, the DE keyboard is the keyboard that has the closest key layout to the CH keyboards. For the manual that is only in German, you can download the French version for free on their website. You can download the English version on their website.
No, the RAM cannot be changed on the Raspberry Pi 400. The Raspberry Pi 400 is only available with 4GB RAM, and no 8GB versions are built. If 8GB is required, the 8GB version of a Raspberry Pi 4 must be ordered.
This information in the shop about the 1500 MHz is not correct, every Pi 400 is clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Pi 400 has a very large heat spreader made of metal that helps to cool the CPU. No worries, your Italian Pi 400 will also run at 1800 MHz with all cores and it will not overheat.
You're going to want to purchase the mini-HDMI->HDMI cable separately. Possibly also the power-supply and SD card too, depending on if you already have some or not. This is basically *just* the computer and no other components.
To install Windows 11 on the Raspberry Pi 400, follow these steps:
## Preparation
- Make sure you have a microSD card or SSD with at least 32 GB of storage space.
- Activate the USB boot on your Raspberry Pi if necessary.
## Method 1: Installation via the Raspberry Pi
- Download and extract the Windows on Raspberry Imager tool.
- Run the tool and select Windows 11 as the operating system and the Raspberry Pi 400 as the device type.
- Select the language and the storage medium (microSD card or SSD).
- Click on "Next" and wait until the installation is complete. This process can take more than an hour.
## Method 2: Installation via a Windows PC
- Download the Windows 11 ARM64 image and convert it to an ISO format.
- Use the Windows on Raspberry Imager tool to flash the ISO image to the microSD card or SSD.
- Select the Raspberry Pi 400 as the device type and the microSD card or SSD as the storage medium.
- Carry out the installation and wait until it is complete.
## Setup
- Insert the microSD card or SSD into the Raspberry Pi and connect the peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, monitor).
- Start the Raspberry Pi and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Windows installation.
These methods should help you to successfully install Windows 11 on your Raspberry Pi 400.
The simplest solution is to use an external USB SSD. As a completely ready-made solution https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/externe-ssd-2591
The choice for a size of 250/256GB is not very large, because it is too small for most people. The entry-level size is more like 500/512GB. There is a larger selection available there.
Or do you want to put them together yourself? In a cheap SATA 2.5" version e.g. the following combination:
Icy Box IB-AC703-U3 (2.5")
Crucial BX500 (240 GB, 2.5")
With an SSD, you should simply remember that the smallest sizes also have the smallest lifespan (TBW).
The question is recurrent, but I have not yet seen an answer from digitec/galaxus.....
Is it possible to have the QWERTZ version .... or at least QWERTY (so USA) of the raspberry pi 400 to have a keyboard as close as possible to CHF-FR or CHF-DE but to have the guide in the local language. So for example in French. (and not the French version with the AZERTY keyboard which is not used in Switzerland...)
My ideal would be a rapsberry pi 400 with QWERTZ keyboard and a guide in French.
If no CHF-fr keyboard...
Then a rapsberry pi 400 with QWERTY keyboard and a guide in French.
Is it possible to mix the packages like this? Or is it independent of digitec/galaxus?
The Raspberry is quite capable (has enough power) to watch online TV on it.
At the moment, Youtube is running smoothly in 1080p on my Rapsberry Pi 4 (4Gb. model). I'm pretty sure it would also run smoothly in 4K.
But if you want to watch Swisscom-TV / Netflix etc. I would recommend the OMSC operating system (OSMC -> Open Source Media Center --> https://osmc.tv). Also, rather forward-looking, buy the 8Gb. Version of the Raspberry.
It will need some configuration, it is a developer platform. But it definitely won't take days... rather hours or even minutes.
