No - nice and quiet. I’ve had mine for 6 months and it’s been a great all round.
how is the microphone's pick-up power with several conference members in a spacious conference room?
I find the sound quality quite good as long as people are sitting around the unit (combination standing/sitting, or near/distant is more difficult). In very empty rooms, echoes can sometimes occur. I have never had this problem, or would then put the Calysto on the fabric cover.

Yes, the device works smoothly with the iPhone and has a built-in battery.
Most likely not. Normally, the Bluetooth dongles are always "paired" with the corresponding device. According to the User Guide, only one connection is possible: "The current adapter is designed for a one-to-one connection".
