Philips Hue Play extension cable
Philips Hue Play extension cable
We do not sell any other colours of this cable, I am sorry.
Officially not compatible according to Philips. There is currently no extension cable that is officially compatible for the Iris. Some users in forums have written that it works for them. However, it can apparently also lead to failures. It remains to be seen whether Philips will refuse to honour the guarantee in the event of a warranty claim. I recommend a normal power extension cable.
No, the plugs of the Hue Play extension cable are much larger than those of the Hue Go. Perhaps have an electrician create a 12 V extension or reposition the supplied charging unit with a 230 V extension cable.
No, unfortunately not to my knowledge,
Hello, to my knowledge this is not possible. Because the Lightstrips have a different connection than the Hue Play. It looks almost identical, but I have read in many forums that the cable did not work for the light strips. I only know one alternative to extend the cable from the controller to the light strips: https://hueblog.de/2017/11/28/so-geht-es-philips-hue-lightstrips-mit-zwischenteilen-verlaengern/ You would have to order this cable from Amazon, I couldn't find it at Digitec / Galaxus. Alternatively, I can recommend that if you want to extend the supply cable to the controller, at least that's how I understood it, that you go to a specialist electrical shop. I always go to Eltop EKZ with my requests. They can carry out such cable extensions professionally.
The extension cable is for outdoor use: Philips Hue extension cable
