Is the lampshade and ceiling base themselves made of metal or cheap plastic?

Hello the cover base and the lampshade are made of metal, only the inner ring is made of plastic and does not look cheap😉.

Hello, the length of the steel cables can be varied. How deep from the ceiling can the lampshade be adjusted in height at the maximum (dimension ceiling to lower lampshade)?

You have to reckon with approx. 7 cm. The ceiling cover is approx. 5 cm.

I have a few Hue bulbs and spots and am not exactly overwhelmed by the brightness (puzzles etc are sometimes a bit difficult in the evening). According to the technical specifications, this lamp is a lot brighter. Can anyone confirm this?

Good day, I have it and it can be adjusted almost to the millimetre. Just push the thin steel cables into the housing.

Can the Philips Hue Amaze base BT (bluetooth) be operated with the Hue system and why is the version without BT more expensive?

It is more expensive because it can be fully functionally controlled via the Bridge. BT is, as far as I understand, controllable with less scope.
