Yes, very pleasant. I cut my own hair directly without the attachment. The first ten seconds might be a bit cold ;) but the "cutting head" is not rough but feels soft, if that's what you mean.
For me, quiet and pleasant in tone. However, this is a matter of personal preference.
I cannot judge whether it is suitable for babies. However, the device has a cut protection, which means that if no length cutter is attached, you cannot cut yourself during operation.
This one is used with a battery or a cable, but both can be used with a normal power socket. I don't know anything about USB, but it should be available by now.
Hello Mr. Lustenberger, unfortunately I did not find what I was looking for at Digidec.ch. But I did find one at Migros M-Electronic. Have a look at the following link:
https://www.migros-service.ch/de/p/71793270000015/philips-hc9450-20-haarschneider
I hope to be able to help you with this information. Have a nice evening. Best regards. A. Schmidt
I bought the product and just wanted to say that Philips is running a promotion where you get a free one-year warranty extension when you register the product. Just as an info for those who might not want to pay here for the warranty extension. Warning on the side: the Philips website is easily the worst programmed I have ever seen. After 3 operating systems and 5 different browsers, I finally found a combination that it actually works with. I recommend Chrome/Chromium for it. With everything else, it either loaded endlessly or the links could not be clicked.
My question: would it be possible to display such offers during the purchase process? There are many providers who offer such options and some people get annoyed afterwards because they have paid for something that would actually be "free" if they registered the product with the manufacturer.
