According to my enquiry with the manufacturer, the EP2221/40 automatic coffee machine is the successor to the EP2221/49 model, which is no longer manufactured by Philips.
It is piano lacquer black... unfortunately not matt black as described

You can do 1-2-3 or as many as you like in a row. :) But of course once the cappuccinos are made, it is better to wash the machine, as the milk could damage it otherwise.

The only difference found on the manufacturer's website is that the 2221 has a much higher energy consumption when brewing.

This is the piano lacquer black model.

Yes, you can. You can use it to make decaf, for example. Of course, you can't put ground coffee in the bean container.
