I started up the machine today. The coffee grounds are all moist and misshapen, is that normal? The pomace from my portafilter machine is a nice dry cake, here it's a wet, strange pile.

That sounds unusual - with my machine, the pomace is normal and rather dry. It might be worth checking the settings again.

How long does the Philips EP2334/10 coffee machine stay in operation without switching off and what would be the longest operating time for programming? Is this machine a good buy? Thank you for your feedback.

It switches off automatically and also rinses beforehand. I think it's great because you can't do anything wrong, it's easy to clean and it flashes when it needs something. I can recommend it for the price and the coffee is good 😊
