Yes, an RJ11 cable (telephone side) to RJ45 (junction box side) is required.

Two reviews describe the absence of the CH plug. Was this missing for everyone or were there buyers who also received it? The specifications state: "May come with a power adapter" - that leaves room for interpretation. :)

We use it on the Quickline cable router, so it should work with the Swisscom box. But ask Swisscom support.
