I would like to convert the card to water cooling. That will work without any problems, won't it? And if I convert it, will it still take up 2.5 slots or only 2 slots? I couldn't find any detailed reviews about it.

...depends on the water cooler because of the width of the 2 or 2.5 slots and connections. If the graphics card has a standard PCB, it should work without problems if you do everything correctly with the heat conduction pads and heat conduction paste.

I bought two Palit GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Pro and connected them with ASUS ROG-NVLINK-3. the system recognises both cards and with 1500 watt power supply there is also enough power on the way. But I can't get SLI mode to work. does anyone have any experience with these cards and sli mode?

Hello you need more detail to find out what is not working I have 2 palit 2080 Ti Gaming pro OC Gigabyte NVlink and 1200watt corsair power supply and no problem in SLI mode.
