Which is better or worse ;-) The cooling is sufficiently guaranteed even without a fan. I have never had any problems with it. The main criterion for me was that it made no noise in my system, which is otherwise configured as a silent PC. This is not a high-end graphics card for gamers. I use it for the usual office stuff and image editing (Lightroom) on a 4K monitor.
The card has 3 connections: 1xDP, 1xHDMI, 1xDVI, a monitor can be connected to each connection. I have 3 monitors in operation and it works perfectly: 2x 1920x1080 (16:9) and 1x 1280x1024 (4:3). Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the maximum possible resolution, but you may find information about this from the manufacturer or in forums on the subject.

Yes, this is possible without any problems. PCI-Express is backwards compatible.
