Can this luminaire be operated with ballast? I had recently ordered some that only worked 'without'. I had to send it back to the supplier.

Can anyone tell me why this light source is still allowed to be sold despite its mercury content? They've been banned since 2023. I'm interested out of sheer curiosity.

This year we have sold all the stocks from our main suppliers and therefore only have one last source of supply, which is extremely expensive due to the distance and conditions. We are currently unable to offer a different price, but we are working on a solution.
