The maximum memory expansion capacity of this smartphone is not available, as there is no microSD card slot for memory expansion. The internal memory is 256 GB, but cannot be expanded.
I had the same problem back then. Device with 5g on and then the battery barely lasted half a day. I then contacted Oppo support who said that you should switch to 2.3&4G in the network selection. So you should do without 5g.
For me it was also a purchase criterion but I think that I will go back to other manufacturers in the future.
Sounds more like a software error, because GPS either works properly or not. If GPS was to blame, this would not have been the case with the video either.
Model 3 charging is nothing special, so in my opinion any mobile that can do wireless charging can also be charged with it. The answer is therefore YES.
According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts approx. 14 hours and 17 minutes before the remaining battery charge was only 20 per cent. The screen-on time is approx. 5h according to the manufacturer.
According to the manufacturer, the device will support 10 W reverse wireless charging. You can find more details here: https://www.oppo.com/chde/smartphones/series-find-x/find-x5/specs/
When I have 5G reception and am on the Wi-Fi network, the battery drains extremely quickly (only lasts about 8 hours with very little screen-on time). If I deactivate 5G, the battery lasts much longer. So it seems that something is also being done via 5G despite the WLAN connection. I think there used to be a setting that allowed Wi-Fi and 5G to be combined for a maximum speed connection. But now there is no longer a setting. Does anyone know the problem? I would hate to do without 5G, that was a purchase criterion for me...
I tried out my Oppo FInd X5, which I bought from digitec, for the first time today. While I recorded a tour with GPS in the Outdooractive app (which worked without any problems and quite correctly), the GPS data in the photos I took is catastrophically wrong! In some cases, there are several kilometres between the saved location and the actual location, which I have never experienced before. It also happened that several pictures taken within a few minutes at different locations were saved with exactly the same GPS location. Does anyone know what the problem could be? The GPS works because the recording in the app worked fine.
As far as I understand the support team, the specifications for the "same" models should be basically identical, and any differences should only be due to registration errors.
For the white OPPO Find X5 model, it is noted that a case is included, which was also confirmed in a review. However, when viewing the black model, a reference is made to a black case under "often bought together with".
So my question is: does the black model also come with a case and would the other one be additional (better), or would you have to order another one for this model?
No, unfortunately that is not possible, there is no possibility to expand the memory. I looked to see which devices also have 256 GB of memory. These devices from Poco would have 256 GB of memory and can be expanded up to 1TB with a MicroSD card:
Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro (256 GB, Power Black, 6.43 ", Dual SIM, 64 Mpx, 4G)
Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro (256 GB, Frost Blue, 6.67 ", Hybrid Dual SIM, 48 Mpx, 4G)
One from Samsung would also have 256GB and a micro SD memory expansion:
Samsung Galaxy A52 EU (256GB, Black, 6.40 ", Dual SIM, 64 Mpx, 4G)
And this Oppo Reno 2 could also be expanded:
OPPO Reno2 (256 GB, Ocean Blue, 6.50 ", Hybrid Dual SIM, 48 Mpx, 4G)
