This must be set on the device from which the sound is output. There is a manual here and according to the manufacturer, you should always have Dolby Atmos via Bluetooth.
Hello Dth94, this means that no DVD or BluRay player is included.
In this case, it is probably due to the incorrect sound output settings on the PS4. For Atmos to work, you must set the following on the PS4: First you have to set the audio output to "HDMI OUT" in the Sound&Screen settings of the PS4. (Provided, of course, that you do not use an optical cable to connect the sound to the receiver). For Audio Format (Priority), select "Bitstream (Dolby)". Then, while the Blu-ray is playing, press the Options button on the PS4 controller and select the audio format "Bitstream (Direct)" in the settings, then it should work. Good luck!
Unfortunately, I can't answer your question. After 25 months, exactly the HDMI output I mentioned blew out. No more warranty and it wasn't worth repairing. I went to the disposal site and bought a Marantz SR-5011. It's been running for a year now and I'm happy with it. Since the speakers in the HT-S5805 set are cheap goods (virtually glued together), I recommend buying the speakers separately. It's better to spend a little more and get a good receiver with good speakers.
According to our own research, all cables for the installation of the speakers and the subwoofer are included. The length of the cables varies so that each customer can make the installation according to his or her wishes. The cables for the front and height speakers are each 3 metres long. Likewise, the cable for the centre speaker and the active subwoofer is 3 metres long. The cables for the surround speakers are 8 metres long. :)
According to my information, this is not possible.
We still have universal stands on offer which fit the speakers; NorStone Esse Stand (1 pair, stand, black) Sonorous SP100 - 1 pair (stand, black) (wall mounting)
The Onkyo TX-NR474 has connections for a 5.1 system, which is not sufficient for a Dolby Atmos setup with the SKS-HT588. The receiver in the Onkyo HT-S5805 set, on the other hand, is a 7.1 device, which enables Atmos (5.1.2).
There is no "HDR passthrough" in the actual sense. The specification/requirement for this is HDMI 2.0a ports with HDCP 2.2, which this receiver supports.
1: Yes, the following audio formats are supported via HDMI input: Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, DTS 96/24, DTS-ES, DTS, DTS Express, DSD, Multichannel PCM (up to 8ch) 2: Yes, this is possible. It is difficult to determine the problem with 3 lines. You'll have to try out everything according to the exclusion procedure. In my case, for example, there was initially no sound from the Denon receiver because the HDMI cable apparently could not transmit 5.1. I replaced the cable and everything worked fine.
