I am very sorry that you did not receive the product you expected. Please contact our customer service for an appropriate return. I will pass on the errors to our internal team so that they can adjust this. Thank you for your information.
The product you were looking for with PD and the corresponding USB-C to USB-C cable would be: OnePlus Supervooc Power Adapter (100 W)
This product is not what it claims to be.
It promises a 100W charger with dual port (USB-A and USB-C/PD) and a USB-C/USB-C cable (see also my other question), so this product: https://www.oneplus.com/de/product/oneplus-supervooc-100w-dual-ports-power-adapter
However, a 100W charger with ONLY USB-A port (without PD) and a USB-A/USB-C cable is delivered.
I chose this product because I need USB-C and PD to be able to charge my notebook with it.
My questions:
* Can you please correct this product page?
* Can you send me the product page of this product (https://www.oneplus.com/de/product/oneplus-supervooc-100w-dual-ports-power-adapter) so that I can order the correct product?
Thank you very much.
Yes, you can use the OnePlus Supervooc 100W charger to charge an Oppo smartphone with 80W charging capacity without damaging the battery.
Here are some important points:
- The charger supports multiple charging protocols, including VOOC, which is used by Oppo.
- The device can adjust the charging power and deliver a maximum of 100W, but it will only provide as much power as the connected device supports. If your Oppo smartphone can only charge 80W, the charger will reduce the charging power accordingly.
- The charger has several protection mechanisms, such as overcurrent, overheating and short-circuit protection, to ensure that the device and battery are protected.
It is therefore safe to charge your Oppo smartphone with this charger.
