If I remember correctly, the fans on the Kraken are the same, only the variant without RGB. I also have the fans on the Corsair h110 and everything is fine 😏
This will not work and the LEDs will burn out. You have to connect this to the NUXT hub.
NZXT Aer RGB 2 Computer Case Cooler 14 cm White 1 piece(s) unfortunately the website is very, very poorly organised. I sometimes have to search for hours.
A few days, just normal. It's just before Christmas, so you're overloaded. But in general, I would rather just call the customer service for such questions.
For lighting no, but to change the lighting or mode or effect yes
If you don't have an NZXT box already fitted with an LED strip, yes.
As far as I know no, you need a NZXT Hue.
Yep. Works on the normal rgb header from the MainBoard.
Yes, everything should be there. One power cable and one input & output cable for the lighting. Unfortunately I could not test it myself, as I am still missing the HUE+ thing.
Yes, it must be controlled. According to the manufacturer: "PC with HUE 2 RGB lighting controller and Windows® 10 operating system."
You can use the NZXT RGB & Fan Controller. You can then control the fans via the Cam software. You can connect a maximum of 9 fans, 3 per channel.
Connecting to Usb and loading software
Is it also possible to control the RGB lighting of a Cougar case with a Lightning Kit from the Nzxt?
In principle, yes, because the NZXT kit has its own software for control. However, this means that depending on the case (e.g. with its own RGB lighting), a separate app is always required for the control (except with NZXT cases). Occasionally, an app may malfunction because another control app is running in parallel, but this can also be solved because the app can be terminated at a certain time. I have a NZXT case with a control unit in combination with Gigabyte Fusion RGB software for the graphics card.
All in all, I think the fan is well made and I would also pay more than other manufacturers. However, I would wait for a discount.
Yes they are. I have them installed in the H510 Elite
Is the question still relevant?
But if you only get 1 fan, you don't need it.
No, unfortunately they are not. I only noticed this after I had connected them. But if you have HUE+, for example, the fans are set to the same colour as with HUE+. The same is true for the new Kraken.
