Are the NZXT Aer RGB 2 compatible with the old NZXT Aer RGB ?

No, unfortunately they are not. I only noticed this after I had connected them. But if you have HUE+, for example, the fans are set to the same colour as with HUE+. The same is true for the new Kraken.
