I use the alarm clock function of the stereo. So when I connect this device, the stereo system starts this device so that I am woken up in the morning with the radio? or is this kind of coupling not possible? And is the screen of the device always on or only when the stereo is on?

Hello, thank you for your question, it doesn't work because there is no way for the Noxon to turn on your hi-fi system when you wake up. It could possibly work with some computer speakers that turn on when they receive an audio signal from the computer, but I'm not up to date in this area. There's no link between the device's screen and your stereo, each to their own user interface.

This part looks similar to the Logitech Squeezebox Touch, which unfortunately is no longer available. However, it was so good that even today many people still build such parts themselves, e.g. with Raspberry Pi. The Logitech Media Server required for this is still running today and is still one of the best. Question for the manufacturer (in the case of a Swiss manufacturer, it could be that they are reading along here): Wouldn't you like to use the tried and tested LMS instead of the seemingly suboptimal software and save many people from having to tinker?

How does the Noxon A120+ behave when there is a power cut (switched socket/ strip)? Does it go into standby after a restart or does it play the last programme (DAB station, Internet radio)?

The Noxon A120+ reacts in the event of a power failure depending on its operating status: - Standby mode: After the power failure, the A120+ returns to standby mode. - DAB playback: After a power failure, the A120+ returns to playback mode for the same station. - IP radio playback: After the power failure, the A120+ goes into standby mode. The LAN (Ethernet) does not have to be reconfigured, but it is necessary to reconnect it in the menu and select the IP radio station again. (Even if the IP address is fixed). This behaviour is not unusual; other IP radio receivers also lose the IP radio "session" in the event of a power failure. This may be due to one of the protocols involved or to the firewall (e.g. built into the Internet router).
