This part looks similar to the Logitech Squeezebox Touch, which unfortunately is no longer available. However, it was so good that even today many people still build such parts themselves, e.g. with Raspberry Pi. The Logitech Media Server required for this is still running today and is still one of the best.

Question for the manufacturer (in the case of a Swiss manufacturer, it could be that they are reading along here): Wouldn't you like to use the tried and tested LMS instead of the seemingly suboptimal software and save many people from having to tinker?
