Almost exactly a year ago I bought the sledge for Fr. 218. Why this extreme price increase?

We work with different suppliers and daily prices. There may be a fluctuation in the price up or down from time to time. :-)

I'm going to get a new Cullmann Magnesit MB4.4 ball head, which has an Arca compatible quick release. Is the Novoflex Castel-L the right macro sled for it or the Castel-Q model?

The two adjustment slides Castel-L and Castel-Q can both be used on a ball head with an Arca-Swiss quick-release coupling. The difference is that the camera is mounted on the Castel-Q with an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, whereas with the Castel-L the coupling piece supplied must be used.
