Try clearing the cache of the Disney Plus app or reinstalling it. If this doesn't help, lower the video resolution in the app settings, this usually fixes the stuttering.
I have not yet had any problems with the memory capacity. - The memory can be expanded with a USB stick. I don't know whether the apps can be moved to it.
Hi. We don't use any such apps for streaming. We haven't done anything extra. Only the connection to the Internet was established. And it works very well.
You can install the blue TV app on the Nokia 8010 TV Box, but there are some restrictions to consider:
- The blue TV app can be installed on the Nokia 8010 TV Box because it is an Android TV device that supports apps from the Google Play Store.
- However, certain features of the blue TV app, such as jumping directly to channels using the numeric keypad, do not work on the Nokia 8010 TV Box. This function is only available on the official Swisscom TV boxes.
It is therefore possible to install and use the app, but some specific functions are not supported.
You can use many different streaming suppliers with the Nokia Streaming Box 8010, but there are some limitations and dependencies on the availability of specific apps.
- The box supports a variety of popular streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV through the Google Play Store.
- For other suppliers such as Teleboy or Sky Show, you will need to check if these specific services are available through the Google Play Store or if there are specific apps that you can download. If these suppliers do not offer specific apps for Android TV, you might not be able to use these services directly via the Nokia Streaming Box 8010.
- However, it is possible to stream content from your smartphone or tablet via the Chromecast function if the corresponding apps are available on your device.
According to Sunrise, the Sunrise TV app can be installed on all Android TV systems. Since this device uses Android TV, it should work.
To be on the safe side, I would advise you to ask Sunrise directly whether the app is supported by this device.
In my experience, unfortunately only partially, quality is relatively good in the Champions League, but not in the Premier League / Super League. It may also depend on the game / channel. On the blueTV app directly on the Samsung TV, the quality is surprisingly more consistent and better than on the box. Otherwise, the box is very good, YouTube/Netflix etc. no quality problems at all 4K top. Apparently the problem with blue Sport is still with Swisscom and it's annoying that you can't guarantee on which devices the quality is always right. Changing devices is also very difficult and restrictive on the part of Swisscom. Hope this helps with the question anyway :)
Hello,
you can also contact Swisscom directly, as Blue TV Air is from Swisscom, they may also have some good tips.
However, the question will remain in the Community forum. We hope that other members of the Community will be able to answer this question.
I use the 8010 mainly in France and have installed the Swisscom blue TV app and use it with a VPN.
You just have to log in and then you will be asked if you want to take over the Swisscom TVbox from home. 8or which one if you have several)
The disadvantage is that you don't have all the buttons of the Swisscom remote control at your disposal and the ease of use is a little worse.
When you are back at home, you will be asked whether you want to use the TVbox on site again.
PS, the whole thing also works with Zattoo
Greetings Eduard
With this adapter I was able to create a 5.1 solution.
HDMI Audio Converter Adapter to 4K HDMI / 5.1 SPDIF Toslink / 3.5mm jack for PlayStation PS5 / PS4 / PS3 / TV / PC / DVD - Black
Disney+ in 4K works without any problems. Surround sound from streaming suppliers cannot be output via Toslink (as far as I know, a licensing problem).
I had exactly the same requirement and solved it with an HDMI splitter, this one: Digitus HDMI eARC Converter/Splitter (Analog -> Digital)
This now works without any problems, picture from Disney+ in 4k and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus via the second HDMI channel to the receiver.
As far as I know, this does not work because there is no server function on the 8010. But maybe someone else has a solution!
Conversely, however, access to PC and network drives works. I recommend installing Nova Media Player for streaming from these sources. The video files are automatically ripped when network addresses are connected.
