We've already been ripped off by Nintendo once and want to avoid it happening again. Back then, we bought Minecraft Dungeons online for the Switch, only to find out after installation that you can only play it with others if you also buy the Nintendo Switch Online membership, for which you have to pay monthly or annually. Outrageous. There is also no way to contact Nintendo. All attempts have come to nothing - even the email address that Nintendo gave in the purchase confirmation doesn't work. My trust in this lousy company is at zero. So my question is: Does this game require any form of Nintendo Switch Online membership?

I have a general question about Minecraft. You can buy Minecraft from the Windows Store or from the Mojang website. Which version allows you to install mods and shaders? I read that there are problems with the version from the Windows Store. Do both versions run via Java?
