I was surprised for the second time, but now in a positive way. My order has not been cancelled and I am shown the delivery status: Expected mid-November. 😀👍Thank you!
Due to different purchasing conditions and changing suppliers over a certain period of time, price changes/fluctuations may occur. We generally work with daily prices.
These games have never been available in other languages such as English. But: These games actually have virtually no dialogue, so you should be able to get on with little or no knowledge of English.
You will need a USB-C charging cable to charge the device. The supplied cable is a USB-C cable that connects to a USB plug. You can therefore buy a replacement cable that fulfils these specifications. Make sure that the cable is equipped with a USB-C connector on one side and a standard USB connector on the other. This cable is then connected to a USB power adapter or a computer to charge the device.
The console itself doesn’t speak, the only sound are the game sounds from the classic super Mario bros. The system is in basic English: start, pause, set, world, time etc… not much more than that ;)
Three games are installed: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Ball (Mario version). And that's it :). You can't install any other games. Nevertheless, the small device is legendary, because it was not produced in very large numbers.
Depending on the case, this is not quite so trivial for digitec to map. In the case of the Nintendo Game&Watch, digitec sold their contingent for 59. The price quoted now, on the other hand, comes from a shop called SOFTRIDGE (I don't know it), which only sells via the digitec platform. In my opinion, the price is exorbitant...or just a collector's price, since Nintendo is apparently deliberately limiting the number of units for the Game&Watch. I think digitec is very transparent about its prices, within the bounds of what is possible and reasonable. As consumers, we have to get used to the fact that they fluctuate. It is ultimately a consequence of the fact that we always want the lowest price. If digitec always called up the list price, it would be stable, but it would be significantly higher than in the variable model. I recommend www.toppreise.ch for an overview of the price trend. There you can also see the connection between price and availability quite well ;-)
The current price (>90CHF) is from a third-party supplier. This becomes clear when you open the 'All sellers' tab. Digitec itself does not currently have the Nintendo Game&Watch in stock, but still offers it for 62CHF. Simply with the restriction that the device may never be delivered.
