All ACNH (Animal Crossing New Horizon) packs are compatible with both versions, but you only get 3 cards with the packs.
So let me explain something to you:
You can spend X100 of francs on these cards to collect, I myself have bought several different packs through Galaxus for 100s of francs, many double and album still 4/5 empty. Now there is an alternative, even 2!
1. you buy the packs and spend a lot of money.
2. you buy the cards secondhand at Ricardo,Ebay & co. But it takes forever.
Alternative: You buy mini Amiibo cards from Aliexpress that work the same way as gensu for next to nothing and you have them all right away!
