Netatmo Smart thermostat
Netatmo Smart thermostat
Hello, I think so. The thermostat can switch a relay and has an iPhone application. Sincerely
The thermostat is of no use to you, it can switch the heating on and off, but is not used to communicate with the thermostats. I have removed all the thermostats again because the system doesn't work as I wanted it to. I have the old thermostats again for manual control and use the room thermostat to switch off the heating when there is enough heat in the living room. LG KK
Yes it works on iPhones.
If it is enough that the thermostat only switches "power on" or "power off", it should fit - if the heating needs more information, then no... Basically, I can highly recommend the device. In use for 2 or 3 years. At that time, the only thing missing was the information during installation that you first have to connect via Bluetooth before WiFi works...
A relay is included. It is compatible with gas, oil, wood and heat pump boilers.
Can the unit make a push if, for example, the temperature of an air-conditioned room rises too much?
The thermostat cannot do this, as far as I know. However, the Netatmo measuring tools (temperature, humidity, etc.) can.
Hello and thank you for your question. As far as I could understand, the Netatmo after-sales service never answered me, this product is designed to work with a boiler, the Radio/Wifi relay and possibly the additional intelligent thermostatic valves of the manufacturer. This product was not suitable for my use (rental building with central heating) I returned it to the seller. But according to the videos I could find on the Netatmo website it is designed to be connected with 4 wires (230 volts power supply + boiler control) on the heating system. I'm sorry I can't tell you more
I had the same questions once. In principle, the "wall switch with the wheel" is a combined thermostat and relay, which then controls the actuator (should be mounted in the wall box above the heat distributors). The NTH01-EN-EC now consists of two parts. The part where the temperature is measured and can also be set and then additionally the relay. Both communicate with Netatmo via radio. This has the advantage that you can place the thermometer where the heat is needed. You can then install the relay directly in the wall box and connect it to the actuator. You need a 230V power source here and with that you can connect both (actuator + relay) so that the relay only supplies the actuator with power in "On" mode. I have integrated my bathroom in this way (initially I only had a manual rotary switch to open and close the water valve in the wall box). It works perfectly and since then it is never cold in the morning anymore :) In addition, the heating regulates the temperature at the place of the thermometer. Since it is mobile, you can decide flexibly where you want the heat. If the temperature in the room falls below a defined limit, the thermometer sends a command to the relay, which then activates the actuator and extends it. As soon as the temperature is reached, the procedure is reversed (command is sent and actuator retracted). Of course, any heating cycles and times can be set with the netatmo app.
Exactly, simply replace the existing thermostat and then register it in the app.
I can't answer the question directly, but I might be able to help you decide what to buy. The Netatmo thermostat does nothing other than close the circuit when the temperature is too low and break the circuit when the temperature is reached. I have two of them. One controls the electric valves of my underfloor heating. Close the circuit: Open valves. The other controls the EW lockout. Disconnect circuit = EW lock on (i.e. heat pump off.) Close circuit = EW lock off. I use the latter to deactivate or activate the HP, e.g. during holidays. But you can also connect heating pumps and much more, either via relays or directly via the thermostat. Both work in the same way. Really ingenious and recommendable. :(
Internet access is required to use this thermostat, as all operating functions can only take place via a mobile device (tablet or smartphone). The thermostat communicates via radio signal with the relay supplied, which in turn must be connected to a network via WLAN.
