Is it possible to install a USB 3.0 expansion card on the lower PCI slot without it interfering with the graphics card?

Of course, that partly depends on the width of the graphics card. My 1070TI comes right to the edge of the lower slot. So it could be quite narrow to insert something without them touching each other. Please also remember that depending on the length of the expansion card, the fans of the graphics card may be covered.

So the mainboard has 2 CPU power connectors (1x regular 8 PIN connector + 1x 4 PIN connector) unfortunately my power supply only comes with 8 PIN connectors, no 4 PIN or 4+4 PIN connectors. If I have informed myself correctly, then the 8 PIN connector should be sufficient for approx. 240W, the new i9-9900k that I want to install "only" has a consumption of ~170W at max load on all cores. The question I'm asking myself now is whether the figures are reasonable or whether I should be worried / get a new power supply or an adapter to add the missing 4 PIN connector?

I may be very wrong, but doesn't the mainboard have too many PCIe slots to fit into the mATX format? It looks like ATX to me.
