Why are there never any prizes?

I think because there are simply none to buy and the prices are volatile. Until this card becomes available again at Digitec, the prices could change again.

I doubt that there are really that many available. I've been trying to get a certain RTX 3090 for months - 5 shops in CH and DE say available since 10 days, but when you order, you only get delays or a cancelled order...I think there are probably 1 or 2 major distributors where all shops, including Galaxus, order. Funnily enough, at these 5 or 6 shops the prices for my desired RTX 3090 are fluctuating up and down - up to 300 CHF or 300 EUR a day... Nevertheless, Galaxus has always been one of the fairest shops regarding GPU prices...not like STEG-Scalper and consorts.

Ask customer service directly whether they will reactivate the pick-up option. This should originally prevent scalpers and miners with various fake accounts and fake addresses from placing many orders for pick-up. Alternatively, there are additional services at the post office (for an extra charge), which give you the option of the postman handing over the delivery directly to you without putting it in the letterbox ("floor delivery" is the name of this, with the condition that someone is at home). To use these services, you need to be registered with the post office so that you receive notifications as soon as a parcel is on its way for you. Once you have received a notification, you have until midnight before delivery to purchase and pay for one of the Post's services online. But for such expensive products, I think it will be sent registered. At least that was the case with my order of this card. But to be on the safe side, ask the customer service.
