As you can see on the Digitec website, this model is sold with or without a cable. It's a USB-C cable, but a very long one. A simple USB-C cable should suffice for updating.... (This has never happened before). The batteries do run down quickly, so it's better to buy rechargeable batteries if you play a lot.

In my experience, the controller reacts much better with the dongle than via pure Bluetooth. The latency also seems shorter. Without the dongle, I often found that the connection simply disappeared. Therefore, dongle or cable works best on the PC.

The one on the right is the controller from 2016, the one on the left is the current model. The current one not only has an upload button and USB-C instead of Micro-USB, but also a much better quality of the joysticks and crosshairs. There is no reason to buy the old model (and the old one is twice as expensive). The new one is compatible with at least Xbox One S.

I don't have any experience with the adapter, but you can also connect the Xbox controller to Windows 10 (or Android / FireTV etc) via Bluetooth. A USB Bluetooth adapter is cheap and I haven't noticed any disadvantages so far. Multiple controllers are also no problem. If necessary, you can update the controller's firmware via Windows 10 using a Microsoft Store app. 4 metres is no problem, it is best to use a USB port on the front of the computer so that the signal does not have to pass through the housing.

What is crazy is the number of questions that could easily be answered if the descriptions of Digitec were more precise, because from one Bundel to another it varies enormously, sometimes they speak of transmission "wireless, radio, wireless, Bluetooth" sometimes they speak of AA battery sometimes of battery, in short it's really anything! Which version is it? The versions 1 have for reference N°1537, the versions 2 have for reference N°1697, and with the last news the version 3 has for reference N°1708, after I do not know if Microsoft produced other versions! What kind of connectors are we talking about on the controller side? Micro-USB, USB-C? What kind of transmissions are we talking about? "wireless, radio, wireless, Bluetooth? What kind of power supplies are we talking about? Rechargeable battery, AA batteries? In short Digitec please be more precise in the descriptions of your products, because it is terribly vague, search on the internet OKAY, but you sell products it is up to you to be the most precise in your descriptions, not to your customers. In an online shop you don't have the product in your hands, in an IRL shop you can have it in your hands and possibly ask a question to a salesman. When someone puts a controller with a USB-C connection in their shopping cart and the site offers a Micro-USB charging kit, there is a problem with your product listing, the customer is not responsible for this error, so be more precise!

Hello The connector is USB-C, there are 2 AA batteries inside, and the connection is made via Bluetooth on my PC. The model is written on the inside of the controller: 1914. Greetings

Digitec does not offer replacement devices for the duration of the warranty, except for smartphones. The best way to proceed is to contact customer service or visit one of the branches.

The controller can also be operated with normal batteries, which can be easily replaced. You can also connect it directly to the PC via cable, in which case it does not use up any battery power. However, I cannot say whether you can charge it while it is connected via Bluetooth.
