I recommend the Yoga 7 Gen 7 model with AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor. It is more efficient than an Intel processor, it also gets less hot and the battery lasts even longer. The Yoga 7 Gen 7 with AMD Ryzen 6800U CPU is available directly from Lenovo, for example, and you can even configure it with up to 32 GB of RAM. Pen support is also available.

According to Reddit and reviews on Amazon, virtually all foils are supposed to degrade touch and stylus operation. That's why I opted for a display-protecting hard case a la UAG instead.

For mobile, daily use on the construction site, I would take the Pro X (I have both, Pro 8 as a "workstation" on 2 4k screens in the office and the Pro-X as a mobile device). Pro 8 is much faster, but that is the only advantage. The Pro X can run classic Windows programmes well, now also 64 bit. Except for exotic hardware peripherals, everything runs. The Pro X has three significant advantages that could be relevant for you: 1) battery life, 2) permanent internet connection via integrated sim card, 3) it feels much more mobile because it is much thinner. And maybe it's also relevant on the construction site that it doesn't have ventilation slots where it can rain in. Surface Pro X is generally underestimated as a work device, in my opinion. I'm not familiar with Apple, I've tried it a few times, it's great for private use (iPhone, etc.), but I couldn't use it for work because of incompatibilities and inflexibilities.
