Actually there is no difference only the way it is written, this is Series X M -CR 612 is available in black and silver, top device good Marantz quality

I would advise against buying it. Airplay does not work properly. It keeps dropping out. Have used it with 2 ipads and 2 iphones (all software up to date)...no one can explain where this is coming from not even Marantz themselves. Very disappointed with the product. Only have this problem with this receiver.
