Now it doesn't work directly, you need an adapter (MA 148KN) because the thread (m) of the Pixi is 1/4" and the quick change adapter below (w) has a 3/8" thread. After that it works. But the quick change adapter is very "clumsy" and the one on a Pixi is not quite as ideal.

Hello Master Pigeon According to the manufacturer, the Manfrotto Pixi Evo can hold up to 2.5 kg. For testing purposes, I put a D800 of about the same weight with 50mm and 105mm 2.8 macro on it. With the 50mm 1.4, the Pixi Evo cuts a fine figure and can be recommended without reservation. A long 105mm or 24-70 2.8 is still permissible in terms of weight, but due to the unfavourable weight distribution it can only be recommended to a limited extent. The tripod can hold the heavy 24-70mm 2.8 lens. But the delicate construction then warps easily. It should then be noted that the support plate must be attached lengthwise in the direction of the lens. This stabilises the system considerably again. The construction will not tilt when the tripod legs are extended. These are really robust enough. My main area of use will be the Olympus OM-D E-M5II for high-resolution mode and video recordings.
