To what extent does the warranty and the extended warranty cover the battery? Previous MagicShine (e.g. 908) batteries did not last more than 80 charging cycles ...

If the battery runs out excessively quickly, you can certainly send it in under warranty. Of course, if the extension goes to 5 years, the battery will no longer have 100% power and will not be treated as a warranty.

What are your experiences with the Magicshine Monteer 6500S? My experience with it: The light is OK, operation also ...OK but the centrepiece, the battery of the Monteer 6500S, is a pure disaster! It has now completely died on me 3 times. During the warranty period, it was replaced each time, but now that the warranty has expired, neither Galaxus nor the manufacturer will offer any help. I would never buy Magicshine Monteer 6500S (I don't know about other models...) again and would not recommend it to anyone. Hands off it, disposable article!

Hi everybody, does this product have the new battery pack MJ-6118 with USB-C interface for smartphone charging? On the product website this is is the battery associated with the 6500S version, but from the pictures, description and video on Digitec/Galaxus it seem to show the old battery pack of the 6500 version... thanks for the help!;-)

It is the new one with PD USB-C. The pictures are misleading.
