According to my research, the manufacturer's specifications and our product page, it is a CH (Switzerland) keyboard. The photos of keyboards are for illustration purposes only and may vary. In cases where a keyboard is included in the scope of delivery (PC, laptop, tablet, etc.), it is strongly recommended to check the specifications, as these indicate the actual layout supplied.
The F-keys can be permanently activated as standard function keys so that you can only press the F-keys without holding the Fn key. To do this, press the key combination Fn + Esc to switch between multimedia and F-key modes. In F-key mode, the F1 to F12 keys function as normal function keys.
Alternatively, you can also customise this setting using the Logitech Options+ software if you want to make further individual assignments.
I took a photo of mine and asked Chat GPT: answer US ANSI layout.
Here’s why:
• The Enter key is a wide rectangle (not the tall L-shape used in ISO layouts like UK or European versions).
• The left Shift key is long, without any extra key between it and “Z” (many non-US layouts have an extra key there).
• The number row has the US symbols (e.g., Shift+2 gives @ instead of ").
• The key next to the left Shift is labeled just \ |, which is standard on US ANSI keyboards.
The differences between the Logitech MX Keys S and the Logitech MX Keys for Business are not immediately apparent, as they share many similar features. However, here are a few points to consider:
- Connection technology: Both keyboards use wireless technology, but the MX Keys for Business is specifically designed to work with the Logi Bolt receiver, which offers enhanced security and reliability in congested wireless environments.
- Design features: Although both keyboards have similar designs, the MX Keys for Business is often associated with business environments and can include additional features to enhance productivity.
- Customisation options: Both keyboards can be customised via the Logi Options+ application, but the MX Keys S may offer more options for backlighting and battery management.
If you don't see any visual differences, it could be due to the similarity of their designs.
I would have to test it to be able to say for sure, but according to the data and specifications, the correct buttons are labelled in the correct positions. Possibly a misconfiguration in this case or incorrect programming. If the updates and software have been installed without success, either bring it to one of our stores or report a defect directly if a defect is suspected. However, it should always be correct and not the other way round.
