Yes, the keyboard works with iPadOS, even with newer versions such as iPadOS 18, as it is specially optimised for macOS and iPadOS and offers full compatibility with Apple devices. The MX Keys Mini for Mac supports basic functions on iPadOS without additional software and is designed for seamless use with iPads.
No, but the MX Keys Mini is available in black! This can also be used for the Mac, it simply has the double labelling of the special keys for Windows / MacOS!
The keys are labelled differently. The exclamation mark is at the top left and not, as is usual for us, on the outside right above the umlaut characters. If you type blind with the 10-finger system, everything works fine.
The keyboard is not system specific, BUT the labelling on the keys is MAC specific. For example, the DEL key is missing. For Windows, ALT CTRL DEL is relevant. This can be adjusted with the Logi+ software, but it is a workaround.
Unfortunately the brand does not state this, it is quite possible that the keyboard can be used while charging like many other Logitech keyboards, but keeping it constantly with the cable will damage the battery.
